Cakes

  • ½ Kg Cake – 4-6 People
  • 1 Kg Cake – 8-10 People
  • 2 Kg Cake – 14-16 People
  • All Bakers Point cakes are in ½ Kg and 1 Kg respectively. Any cakes which require above 1 Kg should be prior booked within 3-4 days to avoid any inconvenience. All our shape cakes are in round, square and hexagon only.

At the moment, we do not offer Gluten Free Cakes.

Yes, we do bake eggless cakes which follows a strict procedure when baking them. You can either place an order through our hotline numbers, order online, or visit our outlets nearby you.

  • Bakers Point cakes and pastries are meant to be enjoyed as soon as possible. All cakes are made using fresh ingredients. We bake the old famous fashioned way without the use of preservatives, stabilizers or even alcohol.
  • Bakers Point strongly recommends to consume the cake within the same day of purchase. However different type of cakes have different shelf lives. Please note below:

 

Dessert/Sponge Cakes

  • Please keep the cake in a chiller or a refrigerator within 30 minutes – 1 Hour to avoid melting and maintain the quality of the cake. All cakes must be kept refrigerated (2 Degrees Celsius – 6 Degrees Celsius) at all times before serving.
  • Our Cakes are best served at room temperature as it creates a rich moist and delicious dessert.
  • If there are any leftovers you plan on storing after serving your cake, we recommend placing it in an airtight container in the fridge to prevent dehydration/contamination and consume as soon as possible in less than 48 hours after date of purchase.

 

Regular Buttercream / Fondant Cakes – Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry or Marble

  • The cake can be kept within room temperature and stored in a cool dry place. You do not have to refrigerate it.
  • As long its kept within normal room temperature, we recommend the customer to consume it within 72 hours (3 Days) from the date of purchase. If there are any leftovers after serving, ensure its packed in air tight container and consume it within 72 hours (3 Days) after date of purchase.

 

Fruit Cakes

  • Our fruit cakes are strictly nonalcoholic.
  • The cake can be kept within room temperature and stored in a cool dry place. You do not have to refrigerate it.
  • We recommend the customer to consume it within 72 hours (3 Days) from the date of purchase. If there are any leftovers left, ensure its packed in air tight container and consume it within 72 hours (3 Days) after date of purchase.

  • However when placing orders on call, we request our clients to pay the full amount via or a 50% deposit payment via MPESA to confirm and process your order. Kindly check our Payment FAQ’S to view our Till and Paybill numbers.
  • We can reserve the cake for you for a minimum of 60 minutes (1 Hour) if payment has not been made.
  • Yes, you can however it is subject to availability of the cake flavors in our respective outlets.

  • In-order to confirm your order, you need to pay atleast 50% of deposit via our payment methods stated below or if possible even pay full amount based on the receipt generated.
  • You can visit our nearby outlets (Zion Mall or Rupa’s Mall). Our counter sales team shall be happy to assist you.

We are always happy to make your occasion even more joyous. Yes, Bakers Point can write a simple message on the cake upon request. When purchasing or ordering the cake, kindly provide your message to our counter sales team.

We do provide cake accessories on the counter at an extra charge. Our sales team shall always ask you if you need anything extra with the cake

  • Yes, you can send your rider or driver to collect the cake on your behalf as long as he comes with the receipt. If the cake has been reserved for you on call, we shall call the customer and confirm the rider. If the customer has paid by MPESA, we shall use the reference number as an act of confirmation or if the rider has come with cash, a receipt will be generated for the customer.
  • However, we shall not accept any responsibility and claims if the cake arrived by rider or driver is damaged.

Pizzas, Burgers, Chicken,
Steaks & Fries

Bakers Point encourages you to consume your food within 2 hours to ensure the safety and freshness of your food. If you are not planning to consume your food immediately, please store your food properly for safe consumption at a later time.

  • Bakers Point always focuses in producing quality, fresh and consistent foods. We always prepare our foods from scratch and never keep anything frozen.
  • Pizzas – 17-20 Minutes
  • Burgers – 20 Minutes
  • Steaks – 30 Minutes
  • Chicken – 20-30 Minutes
  • Fries – 10-15 Minutes
  • The above are timings set for our food to be prepared. However during peak hours or high traffic, the timings maybe delayed by an extra 10 minutes.

The menu is displayed as per the availability in the respective outlet. In case of non-availability, of the ordered product at a particular outlet, the order will not be fulfilled hence the outlet will inform you on the same and recommend you an alternative.

Yes we do offer a wide range of Vegetarian Pizzas, Vegetarian Burgers, Regular and Flavored Fries. Kindly check our menu for Vegetarian options.

Deliveries-Cakes & Foods

  • Bakers Point does not offer any delivery service to cakes and we request the customer to arrange for self-pickup at the outlet where they have placed the order. We can only do inter transfer of cakes between our outlets subject to the delivery timings agreed by the customer when placing the order on the day.
  • Our delivery timings for transfer of cakes are at 11.00am and 6pm respectively daily East African Time.

  • Yes, when placing an order online, you can choose which outlet you want your cake to be delivered to. Or via telephone call or visiting the outlet, you can request our counter sales team to write the address of your preferred location outlet.
  • Please note, we do not inter deliver customized cakes orders between our outlets if is more than 6 Kgs. We request customers to collect it from our main outlet Zion Mall.

Currently we only accept local giro and credit cards issued by the Kenyan Banks for the time being. Perhaps you may consider to ask your Kenyan friends to help you make a purchase on their behalf.

Once we have acknowledged your order via telephone or online, our counter sales team shall call you and inform you how long the order will take to reach to your doorstep.

  • Applicable delivery charges will depend upon the location of the delivery address. You can check the delivery charges for your order during checkout from our website. The charges of delivery starts from Ksh 150 onwards.
  • If you are using our third party platform such as GLOVO to order, kindly note the food prices and delivery charges shall vary.

There is no minimum order requirement for delivery to your door step.

Yes, you can order a cake or food online through our menu tabs provided. Based on the selection, it will proceed you to our friendly checkout system for payment processing.

Yes, you can place an order as a guest instead of a member.

  • Orders will only be processed upon receipt of full payment.
  • Bakers Point will not accept any responsibilities for late or non-deliveries under the following circumstances:
  • Recipient is not present at the address.
  • The address provided was incorrect
  • No valid contact number was provided to make reasonable attempts to contact the customer’s order.
  • No such person at the given address
  • In the event of a non-delivery, no requests or refunds will be entertained due to the perishable nature of our products.
  • Refusal of any item by the recipient will still be considered as delivered and no refunds will be made.
  • Yes, you can. After selecting which cake you would prefer, choose which date you shall be collecting your cake on the website before checking out and from which outlet.
  • In-order to acknowledge your online order for further processing, we request our customers to either pay 50% of deposit or pay full based on the total amount generated. We request our clients to pay the full amount or 50% deposit payment via MPESA to confirm and process your order. Kindly check our Payment FAQ’S to view our Till and Paybill numbers
  • Without the deposit or full payment, the order shall not be acknowledged.

  • However, no refunds will be allowed instead we shall credit your account with a validity of 3 months.
  • We will send you an email confirmation with all your order details and a confirmation number after your order is placed. Please ensure the email address and the telephone number provided is correct when placing your order. If you have not received your confirmation order, please check your spam or junk folders.
  • Our counter sales team shall also contact you to confirm your order.
